Hidden in the heart of Beijing lies the Forbidden City, a vast palace with a strict hierarchy of concubines, servants, and royals that serve the Qing Dynasty. Within the Forbidden City, members of the court fight to earn the Emperor's favor---recruiting sabotage, betrayal, and sleuth to achieve their goals. 

Following the sudden death of Empress Fuca in 1748, the carefully maintained balance of the Inner Court began to fracture. Beneath the palace’s appearance of order, factions of rival concubines begin to form and royals compete for influence over the grieving Qianlong Emperor and the future of the nation itself. In this committee, delegates will navigate the fragile landscape of the Forbidden City where power isn’t earned in the battlefield, but locked behind palace doors.
