In the present day, the Tournament of Elements has ended, but the Ninja are in ruin. The conniving Master Chen, Morro, and the Preeminent have banded together and taken over Ninjago City. After the ambush, the Ninja evacuated thousands to the mystic Kingdom of Shintaro where they are currently regrouping before their next move. Lloyd and Master Wu have called on their allies and the Elemental Masters to unify and vanquish their Cursed Realm enemies.
